Women 4 Wellness’ 2024 Impact  

Women for Wellness (W4W) brings together women from all generations and backgrounds who share a commitment to community philanthropy. Our mission is to address pressing health care issues while providing vital financial support to Providence Redwood Memorial Hospital and Providence St. Joseph Hospital.

In 2024, our 93 members each contributed $1,000, and several members generously made additional anonymous contributions, allowing us to raise an impressive $93,200 to allocate to our caregiving team’s grant requests. We then engaged our membership in a comprehensive funding decision process. Each
contributing member has the opportunity to evaluate grant proposals individually, deciding whether to fund them in full, partially, or not at all, while also ranking each grant’s overall priority.

The Steering Committee used these voting results to determine our final funding allocations. The priority ranking shown reflects the collective voice of our membership and guides our impact in the community. Through this collaborative approach, W4W harnesses the power of women working together to create meaningful change in health care.
